Featured Guest Keynote Speaker: Shawn Achor

Shawn Achor is the best-selling author of The Happiness Advantage and Big Potential. He spent 12 years at Harvard, where he won over a dozen distinguished teaching awards and delivered lectures on positive psychology. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard and earned a Masters from Harvard Divinity School in Christian and Buddhist ethics. Shawn has become one of the world’s leading experts on the connection between happiness and success. He has worked with over a third of the Fortune 100 companies and organizations such as the NFL, Pentagon and U.S. Treasury. To do his work, Shawn has traveled to 51 countries to speak to farmers in Zimbabwe, CEOs in China, doctors in Dubai, and schoolchildren in South Africa. His accomplishments include: being interviewed by Oprah Winfrey, doing research on happiness that made the cover of Harvard Business Review, delivering one of the most popular TED talks with over 16 million views, and giving a lecture airing on PBS that has been seen by millions.

Keynote Speakers

Mike Eberhard, President SAP Intelligent Spend Group, has more than 25 years of global sales and executive management experience in the high-tech industry. He is responsible for developing the strategy for SAP’s three expense management lines of business which include SAP Ariba, SAP Concur and SAP Fieldglass. Previously, Mr. Eberhard had been President of SAP Concur since 2016. He has served in several leadership roles since joining SAP Concur in 2003, such as President of Global Distribution, EVP & GM of Global Accounts and EVP & GM, Asia Pacific. Previously, he held leadership roles at Xign, Ariba and PeopleSoft. Outside of SAP Concur, Mr. Eberhard is Chairman and Director of the board for Cleartrip and a member of the Board of Directors for Castlight Health, Inc.
A 25-year veteran of the business software industry, Jim Lucier has served as President of SAP Concur since June 2019. In this role, he sets the vision and oversees its execution for the world’s leading provider of integrated travel, expense and invoice management services and solutions. Previously, he was SAP Concur’s Chief Revenue Officer (Americas) and global Chief Services Officer from 2017 to 2019.

Jim joined Concur in 2008 as Vice President for Business Development. In 2011 he became General Manager of the Federal Government Business Unit. His previous industry experience includes senior leadership positions at JPMorgan Chase, Xign, Etensity and Gnossos Software. Jim holds a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College. He and his family live in McLean, Virginia.
Doug Adamic was appointed Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) of SAP Concur in January 2020. Prior to this role, Mr. Adamic was General Manager, Enterprise Americas Distribution. In that role, he oversaw an organization of more than 600+ employees based throughout North America. He was responsible for all aspects of revenue generating go-to-market strategies and departments that spanned across Sales, Marketing, Client Development, Account Management, Presales Solution/Technical Consulting and Customer Improvement and Business Insights & Analytics.

Mike Koetting is SAP Concur’s Chief Product Strategy Officer. Mike joined Concur in 2010, is one of the architects of SAP Concur’s TripLink solution and is responsible for creating and communicating SAP Concur’s product and services strategy as part of SAP's family of Intelligent Spend Management solutions. In addition to his strategy responsibilities, Mike is responsible for Concur's relationships with travel suppliers, GDSs and TMCs. Mike splits his time between Concur’s offices in Eden Prairie, Minnesota and Bellevue, WA. Prior to joining SAP Concur Mike held a variety of senior positions at Carlson Wagonlit Travel and Maritz Corporate Travel. Mike is based in Eden Prairie, MN and is an altruistic kidney donor.
Christopher became SVP Global Cloud Strategic Programs in July 2019 and has been a member of the executive leadership team for SAP Concur since November 2016. Mr. Juneau has a long history with SAP Concur, holding various Product Management, Marketing and Operational leadership roles across the world for the past 18 years. He has led its international expansion opening a number of new markets in Europe and Asia-Pacific on behalf of SAP Concur during his tenure.
Valerie (Val) Blatt joined SAP Concur in January 2020 as the Business Head and General Manager of the global Small to Medium-sized Business (SMB) division. In this role, Val leads a sales organization of nearly 1,000 employees throughout North America, EMEA, and APAC. Prior to leading the SMB team, Val spent 14 years with SAP Ariba. During her tenure with SAP Ariba, she ran the Ariba Network team and most recently served as Global Vice President and General Manager of Cloud Services. Val holds a BA in English from Westminster College, Pennsylvania. During her time at Westminster, Val studied abroad, igniting her passion for global business. She and her husband Andy make their home just outside of Pittsburgh with their two children, Aiden and Ashton.
Pete Elmgren joined SAP Concur in April 2019 as Senior Vice President of Global Business Development, joining the company’s executive leadership team. Mr. Elmgren is responsible for leading our Global Business Development organization which includes building, developing, evolving, and executing our strategy with all partners and alliances. Pete, a 20+ year veteran of the technology industry, joins us from Microsoft where he was most recently General Manager of Corporate Sales for the Americas. In that role, he was responsible for driving revenue across all of Microsoft’s solution areas in the United States, Canada, and all of Latin America. Previously, Pete served as a global Vice President of Service Provider and System Integrator Sales at Palo Alto Networks. In addition, he has held executive roles at Polycom, Intel, and Avaya/Lucent/AT&T.
Amy Padgett, Sr. Director, Global Product Strategy Communications, is responsible for communicating global product strategy for SAP Concur product pillars, including Travel, Expense, Invoice, Data Analytics, Supplier and TMC Services. Amy is passionate about making business travel easier for travelers and their companies. She has worked in the corporate travel and expense industry for nearly twenty years starting off with UATP – the first credit card, ever! From there she joined AirPlus International as an original member of a new leadership team charged with introducing AirPlus to the North American marketplace. After AirPlus, she managed the development and evolution of one of Carlson Wagonlit Travel’s four key lines of business focusing on traveler security, risk mitigation, and crisis management worldwide. Amy just celebrated her nine-year anniversary with SAP Concur where, as a member of the Supplier Strategy and Services team, she was instrumental to the success of Concur TripLink. In her new role she will continue to explore ways to make corporate travel, expense, invoice and analysis effortless through transparent and inspiring messaging.

Amy lives in Richmond, VA with her husband, step daughter and two dogs. She received her BA from George Mason University and her MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University and was recognized as one of GBTA/WINiT’s (Women in Travel) 2019 top 40 Women in Travel.
Jen Moyse leads the product team for TripIt, the world’s highest-rated travel-organizing app, where she is responsible for product management, user experience and design, and customer support. With more than 15 years of experience creating consumer and small business products, Jen now focuses on making life easier for frequent travelers, and hopes her enthusiasm for seeing new places will rub off on her three-year-old son, Tristan, who has already visited half a dozen countries. Jen is based in San Francisco.
Leigh oversees the global digital product portfolio and direct commerce strategies for Marriott International, focusing on delivering engaging digital customer experiences, while driving revenue and market share growth. Under Leigh’s leadership, the digital organization is responsible for more than $25 billion in annual revenue and focuses on delivering world-class websites, mobile apps and connected experiences for Marriott International customers across the combined portfolio of 30 brands and 7000 hotels. Leigh oversees the company’s global digital organization and leads efforts to drive direct engagement and conversion in support of Marriott’s global business objectives and oversaw the integration of the Marriott and Starwood digital experiences.

Prior to Marriott, Leigh led digital media, commerce and product innovation efforts at several top media companies. At Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, she was SVP, Consumer Digital Products and Platforms and led the development of the company’s emerging direct-to-consumer digital and subscription businesses. While there, she built and developed the digital product and marketing teams which oversaw the launch of new consumer products, including mobile apps and a multi-channel subscription platform called Curious World. Previously, Leigh held executive roles in corporate strategy, digital experience, product development, e-commerce and new business development at The Walt Disney Company, AOL Inc. and IAC (InterActiveCorp). She has also worked for both KPMG and Bain & Company in strategic consulting capacities. In addition, Leigh earned her MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and is an alumnus of Dartmouth College.

EDSI, as well as me personally, received a great return on the investment in attending Fusion. With the knowledge gained, I was able to redesign our process within Concur Invoice which greatly helped reduce the time spent processing invoices. I was also able to better understand all of the reporting capabilities and have begun to utilize and leverage our data for greater savings and visibility. I will absolutely attend Fusion again.
